This is the second most visited route in the Cinque Terre Park (The Path of Love is the most popular). The trail takes its beginning at the sea in Manarola, rounding the hill with a panorama to the village (as the photo shows).

It is very easy to walk, despite being high, that's why there's no possibility to walk with the baby carriage.

The trail can often be under reconstruction because of the terrain peculiarities.

The route was closed because of the landslide in 2010. It was planned to open it again in 2015, but due to the heavy rain, some new landslides occurred and it was closed again for reconstruction.

Even if the trail is under the reconstruction, first 200 metres/yd. at the hill near Manarola are always open. Take a walk to the panorama viewing point, where you can enjoy a spectacular view (the best in the Park).

The trail connects Manarola with Corniglia. Please be careful: starting from Manarola, near the railway station in Corniglia, you will need to walk up 382 steps or take a bus (the price for the ticket is included in the Cinque Terre card). Walking down the stairs won't be so exhausting if the starting point of the route starts from Corniglia.
